Future Goals

It is realized through this long struggling journey throughout these years that provided ‘Thunder Club’ the required mettle to plunge into any action in the interest of the people. The movement for conservation of the historical relics giving off the aroma of rich heritage of Bengal’s art and craft in the past proved much easier and Heritage Commission of India issued and found notice for conservation of Historical Places and Temples in the area as prayed by the our organization.

On 15th August, 2021, we have celebrated 75th years of independence but the Health Service in the state of West Bengal as well as in the entire country is basically neglected, through lots of tears are shed by our national and provincial leaders and plan-makers for its proper development wasting billions of rupees in the name of development. Anyone can find health system is well equipped and well provided theoretically, but once one comes in face to face encounter with this he gets a heartless vacuum in the Government Hospitals, Health Centres; or he has to spend a huge sum to buy the required treatment which is well publicised as a ‘Service guaranteed by constitution of India’- as mockery. The recent COVID-19 Pandemic has been proved about the malicious health system in the state.

In this present backdrop ‘Thunder Club’ has taken up a new starling vow to set up a Hospital with all modern facilities on the pious land of Jangipara to deflate the sufferance of the unprivileged people. It is resolved to move forward with this mission as already about five bighas of land has been purchased and gathered assurance from some of the most prominent personalities across the State and a bunch of general and specialist doctors. To have this dream fulfilled a fund of fabulous sum of money is required.

Meanwhile, it is stated with much pleasure that the stone laying foundation ceremony of the Hospital – “Bibhuti Bhushan Seva Sadan” has been celebrated on this 28th April 2018 and the event was glorified with the presence of our Chief Guest Shri Ashim Roy, former Judge of the Hon’ble High Court, currently the Chairperson of Clinical Establishment Regulatory Authority.

The estimated cost for construction of the ‘Out Patient Department’ is around 62 lakhs, and cost of land about 5 bigha was 40 lakhs. We have collected these amount from the generous people of locality and outside and constructed the building for rendering medical services.

The power of “thundering” has been achieved to build the building within 18 months and the inauguration of the “Bibhuti Bhushan Seva Sadan” and “Out Patient Department” happened on 26th May, 2019 and from the very day regular medical checkups have been continuing through benevolent DOCTORS from the city.

While providing health services to our rural masses regularly, several concerning health issues have been coming up. Such as creation of a “DIALYSIS UNIT”, various pathological testing unit, DENTAL care unit and also to set up a “CARDIAC CARE” unit etc., the huge amount fund is required.

Now, the goal is to convert the hospital to a full-fledged hospital with all modern amenities.
